Manhattan New Year’s Eve Celebration

The Jansen Art Center would like to invite you to our annual fundraising event: Manhattan New Year’s Eve on Sunday, December 31 from 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM. The evening begins on our main floor with hors-d’oeuvres, drinks, and live entertainment with Scot Ranney and Thomas Erastus Harris while guests have the opportunity to bid on items in our silent auction. Following the cocktail hour, guests make their way to the 2nd floor to enjoy dinner in the beautifully decorated Chamber Hall. Towards the end of the meal, our talented auctioneer leads the room in a live auction with a small list of unique items such as a Holland-America cruise, private plane flight over Mount Baker, a one of a kind bell gong (start bidding now!), and a night out in Seattle that includes tickets to Hamilton and a stay in the beautiful Fairmount Olympic Hotel. Then we lower the big screen and live-stream the famous countdown from Time Square in New York and sound Big Oly at 9:00 PM This is the only New Years celebration of its kind in Whatcom County, giving guests a great night out in a wonderful facility, artfully decorated by our gracious volunteer team, that concludes at an early hour.
