7 Week Class with Dan Stockwell

This course introduces students to creating ceramic forms utilizing the potter’s wheel. A range of techniques: centering, throwing and trimming, bisque firing, and glazing, Classes will consist of demonstrations, hyperlinks, work time, and in-class individual instruction based on individual progress. Understanding of clay as a recyclable material and not every attempt to throw will be successful but persistence will be needed.

Students will buy a bag of clay in the gift shop (or buy the clay online and pick it up on the first day of class).
Please wear shoes and clothes you can get dirty.
