1 Day Workshop with Leah Meleski

Saturday, February 26, 2022

11:00am–6:00pm

This one-day workshop introduces the basics of creating a sleek setting out of sterling silver tubing for a faceted stone. We’ll start with sterling silver tubing, czs, and learn how to cut, solder & set the stone. You’ll use this technique multiple times and leave class with a solitaire pendant, ring and set of earrings!

This is an intermediate class. You must have taken Metalsmithing & Jewelry 1 or Beginning Jewelry.

CLASS FEE
Members: $121.50
Non-Members: $135.00

MATERIALS FEE (paid to instructor during class)
$15–25

PREREQUISITES
This class is open to students who have taken a beginning jewelry class or other workshop and have some experience sawing, soldering, filing, etc. Students are welcome to bring an already existing project that they would like to add some sparkle to.

AGES
Adults 21+

REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Friday, February 25, 12:00pm

MATERIALS TO BRING
Students are encouraged to bring a pencil and a sketchbook/notebook and are required to wear closed-toed shoes and be able to tie long hair back for safety.

In accordance with guidance from the CDC, masks are required for everyone inside the J regardless of vaccination status. We continue to closely watch the recommendations of our local health department and will promptly update you with any changes.
