Expired Northwest Naive Narrative

1 Day Workshop with Dan Stockwell
Tuesday, February 6, 2024
4:00–8:00 pm
A one-day ceramics workshop. Participants will learn the steps in painting a Northwest Naïve Narrative style using underglazes. Class members bring their own greenware piece or choose a greenware tile or small cylinder. Participants bring their own drawings/images or choose from the instructor’s images.
Instruction will be centered around transferring or drawing the images onto the clay, creating a story, and then painting and texturizing the images. Techniques will also include using wax to add details and instructions on glazing after the piece comes out of the bisque kiln.
