7 week guided practice with Wil James

Tuesdays, January 3-February 14
2:00-4:30pm

For intermediate and advanced students. Students in independent studies will create a framework to create and try new techniques with the aid of a professional ceramic artist. Students will submit a framework for one or two techniques they would like to achieve and learn during the 7 week course. Working with a professional instructor students will gain feedback and technique that will guide you to develop a thorough body of work. All guidance and advanced techniques will be catered to your specific style of work.

The 7-week course will include free open studio hours for implementing new techniques and developing a body of work. Independent research and self-direction on aesthetics, theory, and critical assessment are highly encouraged.

CLASS FEES
Members: $229.50
Non-Members: $255.00

MATERIALS FEES
(available for purchase through the Gallery Shop)
$10/bag of clay
$15/tool set

AGES
Adults 16+

PREREQUISITES
Some experience in clay

MATERIALS TO BRING
A bucket, towel, and clothes that can get dirty  

HEALTH AND SAFETY: Masks are optional.
