Josh Welshman
Music Production Instructor
Josh Welshman has been working professionally in the music business for a decade, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music & Sound Recording from the University of New Haven in Connecticut. He has worked as a recording and mixing engineer with esteemed artists such as David Crosby, Norah Jones, Joey Defrancesco, Christian McBride, Cecile McLorin Salvant, Lisa Fischer, Blac Rabbit and many others. While cutting his teeth in New York City, Josh had the opportunity to work in some of the most renowned recording studios the city has to offer, all while being mentored directly by some of the best producers and engineers in the business. Aside from producing/engineering, Josh has also travelled the world as a touring musician in a Death Metal band called Defeated Sanity. He currently lives in Mount Vernon, WA with his partner and two cats.
