The Jansen Art Center is a unique, historic gem located in the heart of downtown Lynden. Uniting the arts community and the natural beauty of our surroundings, we provide the perfect backdrop for weddings, parties, meetings, team building retreats, and events.

We are a vibrant and intimate venue with a creative and accommodating staff who are committed to realizing your vision. With four individual entertaining options, we can accommodate up to 120 of your guests comfortably.

Jansen Art Center Chamber Hall

Chamber Hall
The former site of Lynden City Council meetings, our beautiful Chamber Hall features a Schimmel concert grand piano and regional art displays. With room to seat 80 or accommodate banquet & buffet service for 120, this is a lovely setting for musical performances, conferences, private parties, and special events.
80-120 guests 

Weekdays: $125/hour with a 2-hour minimum
Weekends: $200/hour with a 4-hour minimum

The Firehall Cafe and Piano Lounge
Once home to the Lynden Fire Department, the Firehall Cafe offers Tony’s coffee, Kulshan beer on tap, a selection of Washington wines, and delicious small plates. The adjacent Piano Lounge (pictured) is a cozy venue for pianists and acoustic musicians. Both areas offer outdoor seating in fair weather.
40-50 guests
Weekdays: $125/hour with a 2-hour minimum
Weekends: $175/hour with a 4-hour minimum

Fine Arts Gallery
Located on the main floor next to The Firehall Cafe and Piano Lounge, the Fine Arts Gallery features a stunning conference table by local artisan Greg Klassen. A perfect venue for meetings and small gatherings.
12-20 guests
Weekdays: $75/hour with a 2-hour minimum
Weekends: $100/hour with a 4-hour minimum

Jansen Art Center Library

The Library 
This large, versatile space and its proximity to the Chamber Hall make it ideal for large gatherings and catered events.
30-40 guests
Weekdays: $75/hour with a 2-hour minimum
Weekends: $100/hour with a 4-hour minimum

The Chamber Hall and Library Combo is $150/hour with a 2-hour minimum on weekdays and $250/hour with a 4-hour minimum on weekends.

Our Full Center Weekend Package, which includes the use of the Chamber Hall, Library, Fine Arts Gallery, Firehall Café, Piano Lounge, and Catering Prep Room is $2500.

Weekends are Friday and Saturday
Weekdays are Sunday – Thursday
