Chuck Dingée has been playing guitar and singing professionally for over 40 years. His extensive repertoire of classic rock, folk-rock, and other tunes is quite diverse. His vocal power and musical abilities can wow big festival audiences and rock nightclubs, but he can also charm families at Farmers Markets or restaurants, or couples at weddings.

Chuck was inspired by the Beatles, who he saw in Chicago in 1966. He plays quite a few Beatles songs, including popular hits like She Loves You, All You Need Is Love, and Yesterday; Romantic love songs like Till There Was You, I Will, and In My Life; and fun rockers such as I Am The Walrus, A Day In the Life, and While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

Chuck also plays a large selection of Paul Simon songs, such as Sounds of Silence, Bridge Over Troubled Water, and Me & Julio. Other artists Chuck covers include Cat Stevens, John Prine, Michael Franks, Elvis Costello, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, and Fats Waller. He can pull off Every Little Thing She Does is Magic by The Police, or Gershwin’s It Ain’t Necessarily So.

LIVE AT THE PIANO LOUNGE

Thursday nights, the J invites you to enjoy free live music in the piano lounge from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The Firehall Cafe at the J offers their full menu of food and beverages until 9:00 PM. Curated by local musician Victor Pruner, the Live Music in the Piano Lounge series is designed to bring a variety of local musicians to engage the community.
