COVID-19 PROTOCOLS:
Our goal at the Jansen Art Center is to make all of our staff and students feel safe and comfortable during this unprecedented situation. Below are our enhanced COVID-19 health and safety protocols, relating to studios in phase 2. Our protocols are in accordance with indoor facility mandates outlined by Washington State as well as federal and state workplace requirements. While our exhibit spaces can operate under the new gallery/museum retail guidelines, the social mandates pertaining to classroom settings currently allow 5 persons, including an instructor, per studio space. We are staying up to date on these mandates, and we will update our protocols to address any changes. All participants will be asked to sign a COVID-19 specific waiver before participating in any classes or workshops.

What this Means for Students

  • Classes/Workshops will have a maximum number of 4 students per class
  • Wearing a mask at all times will be required
  • Hand sanitizing will be required before entering the studio
  • Students will be asked to put their belongings in a specific area and social distance during class
