The Jansen Art Center is pleased to welcome Rob Gischer to the Inn at Lynden for an exhibit of his work this summer. The exhibit opens on Saturday, June 1 and will be on display through September 26, 2019.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Gischer has been painting for over forty years. His style and subject matter have evolved while maintaining the key elements of illusion and the manipulation of spatial planes. He asks the viewer to read the work carefully and challenges them on both a playful and intellectual level.
Rob holds a BA and MEd in art and has participated in over 150 exhibits nationwide, and is included in over 100 private and corporate collections nationally and internationally.
