Sold Out ICE DYEING
1 Day
Tuesday, September 24
11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Instructor: Sheri Ward & Marilyn Olsen
Make your own one-of-a-kind dyed cotton scarf using a technique called “ice dyeing.” The undyed scarf is folded and pinched, placed beneath ice, and then the dyes are applied above the ice. No two scarves will ever be the same, and you can get some incredible color blending. Come have fun with this imaginative technique!
Dyes and a ready-to-dye cotton scarf will be provided.
The scarves will need to sit for 24 hours, so they will be available the following day. You may also want to participate in cotton variegated dyeing with yarns, which will be the next day.
