1 Day Virtual Workshop

Saturday, March 6
2:00pm – 3:15pm

Instructor: Ruth Hesse

Sgraffito2Go is a one-hour online workshop. Students have the rare opportunity to jump into the middle of the ceramics process, learning how to carve their designs into 2 unfired pots (greenware) made by artists Dan Stockwell and Ruth Hesse (the instructor). Each student will receive 2 pots ready to be carved.

Normally, this workshop would take place at the Jansen Art Center ceramics studio. Due to COVID-19 precautions, we are bringing the workshop to your home via Zoom!

If you sign up for this workshop, be prepared to make a few trips to the Jansen Art Center: First, to pick up your greenware; next to return your greenware for bisque firing, glazing and glaze firing; and finally, to pick up your finished project.

This class is intended for regional participants who can access the Jansen Art Center in person.
