Saturday at the J – Tom Siebold
Winter Juried Exhibit Opening!
This week we celebrate the opening of our 2020-2021 Winter Juried Exhibit with a feature on one artist included in the show: Tom Siebold
In light of the most recent directives issued by the Governor’s office to continue to limit the spread of COVID-19, and because the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and visitors are always our highest priority, we have made the difficult decision to again close the Jansen Art Center until further notice.
During this time you can stay connected to the J and engage in local art by viewing all current exhibits in the online galleries on our website.

Artist Statement: The world comes to us in pieces. Innumerable sense impressions and fragments of seemingly random experiences work to shape the personal narratives that define our reality and our sense of self. The complexity, fragmentation, and mystery of life is both frightening and wonderful.

Tom’s piece titled ‘Bewiderment’captures the fragmentation I’ve been feeling in 2020. Well Done!!
Larry, I agree that Tom’s work Bewildermant captures how many of us are feeling. Thankful for the arts more than ever to brighten our lives.
