I have been playing around with glass for more than 25 years. What started as a hobby ignited by a community education class has turned into an on-going artistic exploration of this amazing medium. Glass is such an interesting art form and I love all the aspects I have explored. I really enjoy making custom stained-glass windows for people and have created dozens of commissioned pieces. I have a love- hate relationship with mosaics but gain great satisfaction in rendering an image with little bits of glass and tile. Several years ago, I bought a kiln and started dabbling with fused glass – making bowls, plates, platters and 3-D landscape pieces. Every new technique presents another challenge! I have taught classes in community centers, glass shops and occasionally at my own home, including beginning stained glass, mosaics, beginning fused glass, heart pendants, Christmas ornaments and paint-pour projects with glass enamel. I recently moved back to the Pacific Northwest (after 40+ years in Minneapolis) and look forward to establishing myself among artists in this region.
