Ayla Mullen

Ayla Mullen has a BA in Environmental Political Theory and Ceramics from Marlboro College. She continued her ceramic education during a 2 year apprenticeship with studio potter Ellen Shankin in Floyd, VA, as well as workshops at the Penland School of Crafts. Ayla has worked as a full time studio potter for 4 years, focusing on wheel-thrown functional pottery with botanically inspired surface designs. After thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail in 2021, she is settling into a new studio practice and ceramic community in Bellingham, WA.
