Lorna Libert: Buildings, Boats and Birds
January 12 – April 7, 2023
ARTIST STATEMENT
“Buildings, Boats and Birds” features select paintings from three separate series spanning three decades. Monumental oil paintings of abandoned buildings and weathered boats are complimented with a whimsical assortment of birds. The threads that tie these works together are apparent in their boldness, character and unique twist in perspective. Each building, boat or bird, becomes a portrait with a distinct personality… and a story to tell.
