Expired Surface Design Techniques for Greenware
6 Week Class
Dates: Wednesdays, August 25–September 29, 2021

Underglaze transfers, stencils, wax resist, laser print transfers, and commercially printed underglaze transfers will bring excitement to your clay creations! This class will cover additive and subtractive techniques, using slips, underglazes, and wax resist.
The first five weeks of class will include demonstrations and assistance with projects as needed. The sixth week of class will be an opportunity for students to share their work with each other.
AGES: Adults & Teens 16+
CLASS FEES:
Members: $144.00
Non-Members: $160.00
MATERIALS FEES: $10.00 (Paid to instructor on day of class)
Students will need to provide their own Oregon White clay, which is available for purchase from the ceramics studio. Students might also want to invest in their own underglazes, but they may wish to decide after the first couple of classes.
PREREQUISITES: Previous clay experience
COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS: Masks are required for all students and instructors.
