One of the most impressive things inside of the Jansen Art Center is the beautiful Schimmel piano located in the Chamber Hall.

This gorgeous grand piano fills the entire building with stunning resonant sound. It’s not often that we get to showcase this beautiful instrument but we are excited to do it more often with the introduction of a new morning music series.

On select Friday mornings beginning at 11am, join us for a one hour performance by regional pianists. Our first installment features 2 pianists on 1 piano with performances by Etsuko Tomeda and Terhi Broersma.

Admission is by donation and we will provide coffee, tea, and cookies or pastries for you to enjoy.
