Join us for a delightful evening of music performed by world-renowned classical musicians Semmy Stahlhammer, violin, Karie Prescott, viola, and Sergei Teleshev, button accordion, in an eclectic mix of music ranging from Bach and Mozart to beautiful Swedish folk songs and rousing klezmer tunes!

Karie Prescott, viola, began her studies in Bellevue with Richard Skerlong. She is a graduate of The Curtis Institute of Music and the University of Michigan. Chamber music performances have taken her throughout Europe and North America.  A member of the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra she has frequently played in orchestras accompanying Andrea Bocelli, Placido Domingo, and Luciano Pavarotti. She is the founder and director of the Guemes Island Chamber Music Series.

Semmy Stahlhammer is First Concertmaster of the Stockholm Royal Opera, a faculty member of the Stockholm Royal Music College, leads The Stahlhammer Klezmer Classic Band, and appears as solo artist on numerous CD recordings. He studied at Juilliard and is a graduate of Curtis Institute of Music and Kent State University.

Classically trained at the Academy of Music in Voronezh, Russia, Sergei Teleshev has won many regional and international accordion competitions. Being accordion player of Trio Voronezh, Valinor Quartet, Classic Klezmer Trio, he collaborates with many internationally recognized artists, ensembles, and orchestras.

Tickets are available at the Jansen Art Center during regular hours. They can also be purchased online. There is a $1.50 online convenience fee. All tickets are non-refundable. Jansen Art Center Members save 10% with their membership card (in person) or membership discount code (online).
