Yes, we’ll learn the basics of painting on silk, but first we’ll consider the requirements of framing silk so your piece will be the perfect size for a standard frame. Custom framing is so expensive!
You’ll love the silk painting technique. Trace a design with a resist, paint on the dyes, and watch them flow and blend across the silk. You will go home with a stretched and matted painting ready to pop into a frame.

This technique is simple enough for absolute beginners, yet is also an exciting way for more experienced painters to transfer their talents to fabric. Repeat students welcome. Come for a refresher or to try something new. There is plenty of 1:1 time for questions and coaching.
