Gail Harker

It seems such a simple principle that by combining 2 threads in an over and under manner that a fantastic looking piece of cloth can be created.

For centuries embroiderers have used this principle, using a needle and either white or colorful threads to create small pictures, buttons, darning and even lace. Learn a little about the rich history of weaving in needlework and work on small contemporary samplers to try out a variety of straightforward stitches.

Those who attended Powerful Color for Weavers may like to try out one of their color combinations in threads.

Needlework experience is not required.
