Design this slim natural purse shape to carry your phone, day book, or sketch pad.
First learn the character and beauty of natural bark basketry, plus some prepping skills along with techniques for weaving, stitching, edging and borders.
You can custom design with your choices of harvested and prepped willow and cedar barks for spokes and weavers. We will personalize your pouch while learning twillweave and twining skills,cordage and border finishes. Time allowing, a liner will be made and sewn inside. Bring along threads or fabric from home or a favorite felting project, buttons, gems, artifacts. A great class for all levels.
