Duo pianists Gabriel and Rebecca Mañalac present a program of exiting four-hands piano music.  Works by Mozart, Fauré, Ravel, and Copeland span a wide variety of styles that take full advantage of the piano’s tonal capabilities.  Entertaining and energetic, this concert on March 23 is sure to delight! Local favorites, Gabriel and Rebecca performed in a benefit concert at the Jansen Art Center in 2016 as well as the Firefly Classics Series in 2016-2017.

With degrees from Loyola University New Orleans and the University of Washington, the Mañalacs are currently staff pianists at Western Washington University and musicians at Trinity Lutheran Church. Gabriel and Rebecca love to spend time with their daughter Lucia, as well as fulfilling sessions teaching and working with students of all ages and skill levels.  Gabriel has been an active performer for the past decade with both solo and collaborative work.  He was the pianist and celeste player for the Louisianan Philharmonic Orchestra, the Gulf Coast Symphony, and the New Orleans Opera. Rebecca Jordan Mañalac began playing the piano at the age of five.
