Do you have beautiful skeins of special yarn languishing in your stash, waiting for the right project? Maybe there’s not enough yardage, or you’re afraid of what will be lost to loom waste. Join us for this fun workshop where you will weave a scarf or cowl using the skip-dent technique to create a gorgeous lacy piece that will showcase your special yarns – especially nice with hand spun yarn.
This class is also a great introduction to weaving on a rigid heddle loom – no previous experience needed, and we have looms you can use if needed.
Please note that class on 6/4 will be from 12:00pm – 4:00pm.

MATERIALS TO BRING
The project will take 300–500 yards of yarn; We will discuss yarn choices at the first class, and you are encouraged to bring in yarns you are considering.
Optional – rigid heddle loom. These are available for students at the Jansen, however if you bring your own you’ll be able to work on the loom at home as well.
