5 Weeks
Thursday, June 6 – July 11
6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Instructor: Nicole Lockard
Join Nicole in the ceramics studio and learn the basics of wheel throwing.
Using the pottery wheel can be both fun and frustrating. Come ready to make mistakes, learn from them and then try again (and again!). By the end of this course, each student will have made 3 to 5 pieces. What these pieces are is up to each student. It is possible to make a wide variety of forms on the pottery wheel. Students often make cups and bowls (both of which will be demonstrated), but the possibilities are vast!
Instruction will be individualized. This course is ideal for those with little to no experience on the pottery wheel, as well as those who have previous experience and are looking to advance their skills. Parents are also welcome to take the course with their kids.
Join us as we play with clay!
