PREREQUISITES
This is an intermediate class, and some previous experience fusing Argentium® is required.  This class is open to students who have taken a beginning jewelry class or other workshop and have some experience sawing, soldering, filing, etc.

MATERIALS TO BRING
In this three-evening workshop you’ll continue to build your skills working with Argentium®, a special silver alloy that resists tarnish and offers other amazing properties that are different from sterling silver. In Argentium® Silver, Level 1, we fused wire into shapes, created granules, then fused these design elements onto a backplate. In Level 2, we will create a bezel for a stone, then work with masking mud to protect it while fusing the design elements into place on the backplate. We will also play with hidden bails or learn how to add an adjustable ring band to your piece. Come to class, continue your love affair with Argentium®, and walk away with a pendant or a ring.
