Expired JACQUI MARTIN: August 30

Jacqui Martin began the serious study of classical guitar at age 8. Over the years, she has enjoyed mentorship from several notable guitarists including Michael Lefreve (Cornish), David Feingold (WWU), and Michael Partington (UW). Ms. Martin has been a successful competitor in various state and international competitions. She enjoys performing flashy pieces composed by guitarists from Spain, and also emotional pieces by South American composers. In recent years she has added jazz infused pieces to her classical repertoire.

Currently, Jacqui Martin teaches private lessons at the Jansen Art Center, and thoroughly enjoys sharing her knowledge with the next generation of musicians.
