Do you have a project that you have been dying to create but have no idea where to start?
Join Leah in the jewelry studio and work on a personal project that you need help with. Students are asked to come to class with several sketches of project(s) that they want to work on. Class will include demos on technical drawings and model making, discussion of fabrication techniques and specific demonstrations on techniques tailored to help you complete your own project.
Students will leave class with a sense of confidence in the jewelry studio and a few new tips and tricks of the trade. Basic jewelry and metalsmithing skills are required.

PREREQUISITES
This is an intermediate class, you must have taken Metalsmithing & Jewelry 1 and a stone setting class. This class is not suitable for beginner students.

MATERIALS TO BRING
Students must bring materials to create their project. They are welcome to reach out to the instructor for assistance in ordering the materials for their project. The instructor will have some materials available for purchase at the current market value.
Students are encouraged to bring a pencil & notebook/sketchbook, snacks, bottled water, hair elastic or something to keep long hair tied back and are required to wear closed toed shoes for safety.
