Do you have beautiful skeins of handspun yarn languishing in stash, waiting for the right project? Maybe there’s not enough yardage or you’re afraid of what will be lost to loom waste. Join us for this fun workshop where you will weave a scarf or cowl using the skip-dent technique to create a gorgeous lacy piece that will showcase your handspun yarn.
The great news is that you don’t need handspun yarn, we can show you alternatives.
Even better news is that you don’t need to know how to weave first! This class is beginner-friendly

MATERIALS TO BRING
- Rigid Heddle loom with warping tools (peg, threading hook, etc)
- Shuttle (stick or boat)
- Approximately 300 – 600 yds of yarn (yarn choice will be discussed in the first session, and won’t be needed until the second session)
- Weaving kit – tape measure, small scissors
- Note-taking materials
