Learn to spin silk and create fanciful, colorful swags to hang inside or out. Join us for a low-stress introduction to hand spinning this luxuriously soft and shiny fiber. You will work with silk in its many forms – combed top, cocoons, bricks, hankies, and more – and learn different ways to draft and spin these preps. The finished swag is whimsical, colorful, and full of texture – the perfect no-pressure way to dive into silk spinning.
