Expired Glaze Technology

6 Week Class

Glaze and glaze techniques are essential to the successful ceramic artist. This class will cover the fundamentals of glaze formulation from mixing to application. Students will mix their own glazes and create line blends for color, texture, and temperature. A variety of atmospheric firing conditions will also be discussed as well as a complete understanding of temperature as it relates to firing ceramic ware.

All materials will be provided and students will be allowed free access to open studio times.

CLASS FEES:
Members: $175.50
Non-Members: $195.00

MATERIALS FEE: $10.00 (Paid to the J)

Students should bring a P100 or N95 respirator.

PREREQUISITES: None

COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS: Masks are required for all students and instructors.
