Upcoming Fundamentals of Photography

In this four-week course, I will teach students the fundamentals of camera operation and the fundamental skills needed to make pictures that express and explore our creativity. We will cover mechanical topics like shutter, aperture, ISO, autofocus, modes, digital files, metering, and post-processing in the first two weeks of class. In the second two weeks, we will focus on strategies for taking pictures of still and moving subjects. There will be a “homework” assignment at the end of each class, and we will begin the next class by looking at and discussing the pictures.
