An introductory course for anyone interested in being able to record/produce their own music from the comfort of their own home.
We will go over the following topics:
• Basic signal flow
• Microphone placement techniques
• Managing acoustics
• Basic signal processing
• Introduction to Digital Audio Workstation software
• Recommendations for quality recording equipment on a budget
This workshop will be targeted towards the absolute beginner, so all of these topics will be covered at a fundamental level, with no prior experience necessary.
