In this class you will learn to design and make hand built pottery and ceramic sculpture using various techniques such as: slab construction, coil pots, pinch pots, and surface texture.

Wheel work will also be incorporated for those interested. Here you will learn how to use the potter’s wheel as a tool for making sculptural and functional objects. Glazing will also be covered during this program. Students will be encouraged to expand on what they have learned and take projects in their own direction during the class.

The cost of this course includes 12 hours of free open studio time for extra practice.
