Upcoming Experimenting with Drawing Tools
6 Week Class with Angela Boyle
Fridays, September 20 – October 25, 2024

We will cover the basics of a variety of traditional art techniques: graphite, ink, scratchboard, watercolor, and colored pencils. The last week of class will include a presentation and demo on a topic chosen by the class: alcohol-based markers, acrylic paint, carbon dust, linocut, or silverpoint. Each week will start with a light critique of illustrations in terms of the media; followed by a lecture/demonstration; finishing with practice time.
