Expired Creatures and Features for the Garden

7-week class with Margaux Mellott

A 7-week class exploring sculpture techniques and slap building items to adorn your Garden spaces. The first class will go over principles of clay sculpture with and without sawdust, an overview of basic techniques used throughout the class, and creation of a Fairy Picnic. Class two: Press moulds for a bird bath/ Slug beer trap. Class three: slab planters, sconces and trays. Class four: Fairy Doors and Garden Markers. Class Five: using the extruder to make 5-minute Gremlins and Fairies, as well as an extruder vase. We will discuss surface decoration along the way and the final class we will have a Fairy Picnic with a show and tell.

- Your personal sculpting Kit: Towel, small water bucket, needle tool, sponge, wooden modeling tools, loop tools, texture makers, metal sculpting tools, etc.
