This class will introduce you to the graceful elegance of Copperplate calligraphy. In this 6 week course you will learn the technique behind the “pointed pen”, the graceful lower and upper case letters, numbers, and even how to practice in pencil. Whether you are learning calligraphy for the first time or brushing up on current skills, you will rediscover an appreciation for the handwritten word through the rhythmic beauty of this 18th -19th century script.

- 2.4mm Pilot Parallel Pen
- One box of additional ink cartridges
- 9″”x12″” Layout Bon padded paper—either Borden & Riley #37, or Strathmore
- pencil
