7-week guided practice

For intermediate and advanced students. Students in independent studies will create a framework to create and try new techniques with the aid of a professional ceramic artist. Students will submit a framework for one or two techniques they would like to achieve and learn during the 7-week course. Working with a professional instructor students will gain feedback and technique that will guide them to develop a thorough body of work. All guidance and advanced techniques will be catered to your specific style of work.
The 7-week course will include free open studio hours for implementing new techniques and developing a body of work. Independent research and self-direction on aesthetics, theory, and critical assessment are highly encouraged.
