2 Week Class
Date: Thursdays, November 11 – 18, 2021
Time: 5:00-6:30 PM
Instructor: Kevin Coleman
Have you ever wanted to paint in the dark? How about exploring the ocean deep?
Please join Kevin Coleman in this 2-week class we will create a single acrylic painting using various colors along with phosphorous paints. Phosphorous paints are just a fancy word for glow in the dark. This painting will be all about underwater life and what glows in the deep of the ocean.
The first week we will design our painting with contour sketch layout with a first layer of paints.
The second week will be a mix of acrylic painting and painting in the dark using a dark light to help mix your glow in the dark underworld.
Each week we will encourage scientific talk about underwater life and how we can help protect these areas of our planet. We only know 9% of our oceans. Let’s learn a bit more.
Why not help paint and inspire those around you by painting something fun and unique? Everyone gets a small blacklight and a finished painting to be proud of at the end of the class.
