Upcoming Bill Anschell Peru Reunion Trio

Pianist and composer, Bill Anschell, has toured Peru and other South American countries many times. For the early tours, he used his Atlanta bassist and drummer, but after moving to Seattle, he brought bassist Chris Symer and drummer/percussionist Jeff Busch on board; they will be joining him at the Jansen Art Center. For the tours, Anschell arranged a number of South American traditional songs, adding a jazz flavor and his unique rhythmic ideas to them. The trio will play a mix of these songs and Anschell’s originals; The J’s beautiful Schimmel piano will be the star.
