Join us as we explore basic techniques in weaving tapestry. This class is designed for the individual who has little or no experience in the art of making tapestry. In this class, you will be warping a frame loom in a higher sett to create and complete a small tapestry. You will learn various weaving techniques to create angles, lines, circles, and other shapes, along with color blending and shading techniques such as regular and irregular hatching, pick n’ pick, and a variety of stitching styles. All supplies and looms are provided for this class. Students are welcome to bring their own weaving tools and worsted weight yarns.

MATERIALS TO BRING
All supplies for this class, including looms, warp, and weft yarns, tapestry needles, etc. are included. Students may bring their own worsted weight yarn and other supplies if they so choose.
