Join us as we explore the basic techniques of tapestry weaving! This class is designed for individuals who has little or no previous experience in textile weaving as well as those who want to continue to learn new techniques and complete a more complicated design. In this class, you will create and complete a small tapestry using a frame loom. You will learn how to warp the loom and apply basic weaving techniques to create angles, lines, and other shapes. In addition, you will learn basic color blending techniques such as hatching and pick n’ pick in addition to some basic of stitching techniques. All supplies and looms are provided for this class.

MATERIALS TO BRING
All materials including looms, warp and weft yarns, tapestry needles, rulers, etc. are included. Students are welcome to bring theis own Tapestry supplies. Weft yarn used in the class is worsted weight wool.
