2 Hour Workshop
Instructor: Textiles Studio
Sashiko Embroidery is a traditional Japanese running stitch used to work designs on indigo or other fabrics. No previous embroidery experience is required. Participants will receive a piece of cotton fabric with a pre-printed design on it, thread and a sashiko needle. Everyone will take home a work of art that could be sewn onto a bag, garment or other textile or framed.
AGES: 10 through Adult
This activity is suitable for anyone age 10 and above and would be a great multi-generational experience.
$35 per person (includes materials)
