Artist Agreement – Bellingham Modern Quilt Guild at the Inn at Lynden

1. The Jansen Art Center reserves the right to hang and display all consigned art.
2. All art will be for sale, unless exceptions are noted. The Artist will receive a commission split of 60% of the retail price and the Jansen Art Center will receive 40%. The artist determines the retail price. The Jansen Art Center will pay 100% of the Sales Tax based on the selling price.
3. All items must be listed individually on this consignment agreement.
4. Upon the sale of consigned art, payment will be made by the 15th of the following month.
5. The Jansen Art Center assumes full responsibility of work lost, stolen, or damaged while in the gallery’s possession from the date of delivery to the art center through pick-up of the inventory or for a total of 100 days, whichever is first. Requests for items to be left longer than 100 days must be approved by a Jansen Art Center Manager. Artists are responsible for picking up their work or arranging for return shipment. The Jansen Art Center will not pay for missing items after the consignment contract has expired.
