The Juried Exhibits at the Jansen Art Center rotate seasonally and show off the wide variety of artistic talent found right here in Whatcom County. Artists of all calibers and mediums are invited to submit up to five pieces for consideration by a rotating jury made up of artists, curators, and other members of the regional arts community.
Over the past year, submissions to the Juried Exhibits at the J have reached record numbers, proving that even in the most difficult times art and creativity still thrive. This season’s exhibit features over 75 pieces from 42 artists. The mediums included range from oil and acrylic paints on many surfaces to all types of collage, sculpture, textiles and photography.
Artwork can be purchased through our Gallery Shop and will be available for pickup when the exhibit closes.
